So many restaurant pos systems claims to have food modifier functionality in their restaurant point of sale. So let us have a look what is a food modifier and what it does. A food modifier is option that pops up, when working in the menu order screen. Modifiers could be forced or could be a choice.

Forced modifiers allow you to force the server to pick from a preset list of suggested or acceptable items on the menu.
